Mr. Watts asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what is the average amount of housing benefit paid to single supplementary benefit claimants in Slough (a) for furnished accommodation and (b) for local authority accommodation.
Mr. Major I regret that this information is not available and could be obtained only at disproportionate cost.
Mr. Hancock asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what proportion of domestic ratepayers in Portsmouth receive housing benefit.
Mr. Major I shall let the hon. Member have a reply as soon as possible.
