Mr. Allen McKay To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he has any information on the effects of top tax rates on industrial competitiveness.

Mr. Major Maintaining tax rates in line with or below those of our main competitors is vital if Britain is to retain and motivate its most talented and enterprising individuals.
