Mr. Cox: To ask the Prime Minister for what reasons a letter of condolence was not sent by a Minister to the family of the Danish tour guide for whose manslaughter three British service men have been convicted.
The Prime Minister: My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Defence has written a private letter to Louise Jensen’s parents.
Late Payments
Mrs. Roche: To ask the Prime Minister what percentage of bills were paid late by his Department in 1995-96.
The Prime Minister: This information is being collated by the Department of Trade and Industry and will be published by my right hon. Friend the President of the Board of Trade before the summer recess.
Mrs. Roche: To ask the Prime Minister how much was paid late by his Department to the private sector for goods and services in 1995-96.
The Prime Minister: The information is not held in the form requested.
