Mr. Major Asked the Secretary of State for Trade when he expects to publish his proposals for amending the Licensed Dealers (Conduct of Business) Rules.

Mr. Eyre My Department will be writing to the representative bodies of the securities industry in the next few days outlining its proposals. We aim to publish draft regulations by the end of February.
