Official Visits
5. Sir Michael Neubert: To ask the Prime Minister what plans he has to make an official visit to Romford.
The Prime Minister: During the next few weeks, I hope to visit all parts of the United Kingdom.
Employment Prospects (Lichfield)
8. Mr. Fabricant: To ask the Prime Minister what assessment he has made of the effects of Her Majesty’s Government’s policies on employment prospects in Lichfield.
The Prime Minister: The Government’s sound economic policies and labour market reforms have encouraged employment creation throughout the country. Unemployment has fallen by more than a million in the United Kingdom, by more than 20,000 in the county of Staffordshire, and by more than 2,000 in Lichfield.

The Prime Minister: This morning, I had meetings with ministerial colleagues and others. In addition to my duties in the House, I shall be having further meetings later today.
