PRIME MINISTER:
Manchester Airport
Mr. Alfred Morris : To ask the Prime Minister, pursuant to his answer of 10 February, Official Report, column 414 , who will be signing the reply to the chief executive of Manchester Airport plc in regard to liberalising access to regional airports; and if he will place a copy of his reply in the Library.
Mr. Newton : I have been asked to reply.
My right hon. Friend the Prime Minister’s private secretary replied on 11 February. It is not my right hon. Friend’s normal practice to place copies of such letters in the Library.
Pan Am 103
Mr. Dalyell : To ask the Prime Minister what representations he has had from the Government of Malta about the feasibility of staging a trial under Scottish rules of evidence of the two Libyan nationals alleged to have been involved in the destruction of Pan Am 103; and if he will make a statement.
Mr. Newton : I have been asked to reply.
My right hon. Friend the Prime Minister has received no such representations.
