Below is the text of Mr Major’s written Parliamentary Answer on EC (Retirement Pensions) on 17th March 1987.

Mr. Willie W. Hamilton Asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will publish in the Official Report a table showing the basic retirement pension in each European Economic Community country, the respective contribution rates as a percentage of average earnings and the pension as a percentage of average incomes.
