PRIME MINISTER:
Engagements
Sir Peter Tapsell: To ask the Prime Minister if he will list his official engagements for Thursday 22 June.
Mr. Harry Greenway: To ask the Prime Minister if he will list his official engagements for Thursday 22 June.
The Prime Minister: This morning I presided at a meeting of the Cabinet and had meetings with ministerial colleagues and others. In addition to my duties in the House, I shall be having further meetings later today.
Singapore
Mr. Cousins: To ask the Prime Minister on what occasions since 1984 the Government have made representations to the Government of Singapore about the activities of a company called Charter Industries of Singapore.
The Prime Minister: Chartered Industries of Singapore are part of the Government-owned Singapore technologies group. The British high commission, in the course of its export promotion activities, has regular discussions with the Singapore Ministry of Defence, which may include reference to Chartered Industries of Singapore.
