Mr. Fearn To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what is his latest estimate of the deficit in manufactured trade for 1989–90.

Mr. Major The Financial Statement and Budget Report for 1989–90 provides a forecast for trade in manufactures for calendar year 1989 only (table 3.5).
